The Song Jobs New Gate Time = Original Gate Time × rate/100 + offset (If the right side of the equation is less than 0, the New Gate Time becomes 1.) The Modify Gate Time job can be used to produce a more staccato or legato feel, as required. Experiment with the parameters to get a feel for what they do. After setting the parameters as required press [ENTER] to execute the Modify Gate Time job. The metronome icon will appear on the display while the data is being processed, then "Completed" will appear briefly when the job is done. Press the [F6] key ("Exit") to return to the job list, or a mode key to go directly to the selected mode. 04: Crescendo Produces a gradual crescendo (increase in note velocity) or decrescendo (decrease in note velocity) in the specified track over the specified range of measures.
