CHAPTER 19 Remote Management Configuration This chapter provides information on configuring remote management. 19.1 Remote Management Overview Remote management allows you to determine which services/protocols can access which ZyXEL Device interface (if any) from which computers. The following figure shows secure and insecure management of the ZyXEL Device coming in from the WAN. HTTPS access is secure. HTTP and Telnet access are not secure. Figure 146 Secure and Insecure Remote Management From the WAN " When you configure remote management to allow management from the WAN, you still need to configure a firewall rule to allow access.
