Table 34 Advanced: WAN DHCP IP Encapsulation LABEL DESCRIPTION WAN Access Type You must choose the DHCP Client option when the WAN port is used as a regular Ethernet using DHCP to be assigned an IP address. Attain DNS Automatically Select this if your ISP assigns you a DNS server at the same time it assigns you an IP Address. Set DNS Manually Use this if your ISP does not assign a DNSP server when it assigns you an IP address. DNS 1 - 3 Enter in your ISP's DNS server IP address here. You must enter in 1. Clone MAC Address Your ISP may require a particular MAC address in order for you to connect to the Internet. This MAC address is the PC's MAC address that your ISP had originally connected your Internet connection to. Type in this Clone MAC address in this section to replace the WAN MAC address with the MAC address of that PC. Respond to WAN Put a check in this box to reply to ping packets.
