Table 35 PPPoE Encapsulation LABEL DESCRIPTION WAN Access Type User Name Password Service Name Connection Type Idle Time MTU Size Attain DNS Automatically You must choose the PPPoE option when the WAN port is used with PPPoE. Type the User Name given to you by your ISP. Type the password associated with the User Name above. Type the PPPoE service name provided to you. PPPoE uses a service name to identify and reach the PPPOE server. Select Continuous if you do not want the connection to time out. Select Connect On Demand if you want to only connect when you are sending data. Select Manual if you do not want manually log the P-330W in via the GUI. The amount of time before the PPPoE session times out and drops connection. Enter in the maximum MTU (packet size) here. Type the User Name given to you by your ISP.

Type the PPPoE service name provided to you. PPPoE uses a service name to

Connection Type
Select
Continuous
if you do not want the connection to time out.
Select

if you want to only connect when you are sending
data.
