Red On The VMG detected an error while self-testing, or there is a device malfunction. Blinking The VMG is uploading firmware. Off The VMG is not receiving power. Green On The ADSL line is up. DSL1 DSL2 Amber Blinking On The VMG is initializing the ADSL line. The VDSL line is up. Blinking The VMG is initializing the VDSL line. Off The DSL line is down. Green On The VMG has an IP connection but no traffic. Internet WAN Ethernet WiFi 2.4G WiFi 5G Red Green Green Green Amber Blinking Off On On Blinking Off On Blinking Off On Blinking Blinking Off Your device has a WAN IP address (either static or assigned by a DHCP server), PPP negotiation was successfully completed (if used) and the DSL connection is up. The VMG is sending or receiving IP traffic. There is no Internet connection or the gateway is in bridged mode. The VMG attempted to make an IP connection but failed. Possible causes are no response from a DHCP server, no PPPoE response, PPPoE authentication failed. The VMG has a successful 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet connection on the WAN. The VMG is sending or receiving data to/from the WAN at 10/100/1000 Mbps. There is no Ethernet connection on the WAN. The VMG has a successful 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet connection with a device on the Local Area Network (LAN). The VMG is sending or receiving data to/from the LAN at 10/100/1000 Mbps. The VMG does not have an Ethernet connection with the LAN. The 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz WiFi network is activated. The VMG is communicating with 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz WiFi clients. The VMG is setting up a WPS connection with a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz WiFi client. The 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz WiFi network is not activated. Note: The USB LED is reserved for future development.
