Attention The shock absorber is filled with gas under pressure and may cause severe damage if taken apart by someone who is unskilled. If you intend to transport a passenger and baggage, preload the shock absorber spring to the maximum to improve the dynamic performance of the motorcycle and to avoid possible interference with ground. You may find that rebound damping needs adjusting as well. The shock absorber is adjusted by electric impulses sent by the instrument panel to the adjusters inside the shock absorber body. Attention Danger: the bike touches the ground earlier than expected. Consider the reduced lean angle and ground clearance of the Version with Lowered Riding Height. Motorcycle lower riding height is achieved through a reduction of the suspension travel. This could result in a limitation of the usual riding comfort. The rear shock absorber spring preload should be adjusted, especially when riding with a passenger and/or luggage. 166
