Ride by Wire (RbW) The Ride by Wire system is the electronic device that controls throttle opening and closing. Since there is no mechanical connection between the throttle twistgrip and the throttle body, the ECU can adjust power delivery by directly affecting throttle opening angle. The Ride by Wire system allows different engine powers and outputs based on the selected Riding Mode (Engine), but also serves as a control of rear wheel slipping (DTC). 34
