MEMORYSTORAGEFUNCTION
Twopositionsforthedriver’sseat,accelerator
andbrakepedals,andoutsidemirrorscanbe
storedintheautomaticdrivepositionermemory.
Followtheseprocedurestousethememorysys-
tem.
1.PlacetheshiftselectorintheP(Park)posi-
tion.
2.PlacetheignitionswitchintheONposition.
3.Adjustthedriver’sseat,acceleratorand
brakepedals,andoutsidemirrorstothe
desired positions by manually operating
eachadjustingswitch.Foradditionalinfor-
mation,see“Seats”inthe“Safety—Seats,
seatbeltsandsupplementalrestraintsys-
tem”sectionofthismanualand“Pedalposi-
tionadjustment”and“Outsidemirrors”ear-
lierinthissection.
Duringthisstep,donotplacetheignition
switchinanypositionotherthanON.
4.PushtheSETswitchand,within5seconds,
pushthememoryswitch(1or2).
Theindicatorlightforthepushedmemory
switchwillcomeonandstayonforapproxi-
mately5secondsafterpushingtheswitch.
Aftertheindicatorlightgoesoff,these-
lectedpositionsarestoredintheselected
memory(1or2).
Ifanewmemoryisstoredinthesamememory
switch,thepreviousmemorywillbedeleted.
Linkingakeyfobtoastoredmemory
position
Eachkeyfobcanbelinkedtoastoredmemory
position(memoryswitch1or2)withthefollow-
ingprocedure.
1.Followthestepsforstoringamemoryposi-
tion.
2.Whiletheindicatorlightforthememory
switchbeingsetisilluminatedfor5sec-
onds,pressthe
buttononthekeyfob.
Theindicatorlightwillblink.Aftertheindica-
torlightgoesoff,thekeyfobislinkedtothat
memorysetting.
Withthekeyremovedfromtheignitionswitch,
pressthe
buttononthekeyfob.Thedriv-
er’sseat,acceleratorandbrakepedals,andout-
sidemirrorswillmovetothememorizedposition.
NOTE:
Ifanewmemorypositionissavedtothe
memoryswitch,thekeyfobautomatically
re-links.
Confirmingmemorystorage
PlacetheignitionswitchintheONposition
andpushtheSETswitch.Ifthemainmemory
hasnotbeenstored,theindicatorlightwill
comeonforapproximately0.5seconds.
Whenthememoryhasstoredtheposition,
theindicatorlightwillstayonforapproxi-
mately5seconds.
