English 3M™ Pocket Projector MP180 Password Settings Tap on the Password Setting icon to turn on or off password protection and set the password. The 3M MP180 projector uses password protection to protect the files on the projector's internal memory. The password must be entered every time the projector is turned on or taken out of standby mode. 1 Choose whether to turn the password on or off. 2 If you choose to turn the password on, then you can add a new password by inputting your old password, a new password and then repeating the new password. The password must consist of four numbers. Note: If this is the first time setting up a password, leave the old password field blank. Important Notes: 1. The password cannot be recovered. After 10 attempts, the 3M MP180 will delete all files in the internal memory and reset the password setting. The files on your removable microSD card will not be affected. 2. Password protection will not protect the files on your removable microSD card. 52 © 2011 3M. All Rights Reserved.
