When displaying an image with a PQ of 2,000 cd/m2, you can check the entire dynamic range of the image. Also, when displaying an image with a PQ of 4,000 cd/m2, you can check the image up to 2,000 cd/m2. When set at [2000], those areas that exceed 4,000 cd/m2 are clipped, and those that are 4,000 cd/m2 or below are assigned to the dynamic range of the video display. When displaying an image with a PQ of 4,000 cd/m2, although the apparent brightness lowers, you can still check all the dynamic range of the image. The brightness of the video display corresponds to the value set for Contrast.
