NOTE: When you set the camcorder Timecode mode to REC RUN, REGEN or EXT TC, the FS-4 will NOT record the timecode when recording to disk only. Use the FS-4 TC modes if you want any of these TC modes. TC SET (or TC / UB SET - FS-4PRO only) This group allows you to enable or disable the FS-4's time code (TC). Step 1: Select TC SET. Step 2: Use the Left and Right navigation keys to sequence through hours, minutes, seconds, and frame. Use the Up and Down navigation keys to increment and decrement values. Step 3: Press BACK to return to the SETUP Screen with the current cursor row set to TC SET value. • The "HH/MM/SS/FF" row is for display only. • On the FS-4Pro only, you can set either a TC value or a User bit value. The selected mode (TC or UB) is the currently set mode. Move between modes by pressing the Left or Right navigation keys. The LCD updates accordingly. In UB mode, the HH/MM/SS/ FF disappears and so do the colons between the values. DROP (GROUP) - NTSC versions only Selections consist of the following: TC DROP and TC NON-DROP (Group Default). Upon selection, the value is marked with a "- " LCD CONTRAST Step 1: Step 2: Press the Right navigation key to go to the submenu. Use the Up and Down navigation key to increment and decrement the value. The LCD contrast changes according the value. 41
