ORGANIZE PINNACLE (FS-4Pro Only) This selection organizes clips for use with Pinnacle Liquid series NLE systems. Products such as the Pinnacle AVI file format were created for use with products such as Pinnacle Liquid Edition. The Pinnacle AVI file format creates three files simultaneously during a recording; an AVI video file and two separate WAV audio files labeled as left and right. An additional Edition.ale file for each recording session is also created which contains timecode data. This file must be kept with the media. Once clips have been imported into Liquid Edition, an Index file is created on the disk drive for each clip. Do not delete this file since it is required to continue work in the particular project. DELETE CLIP This selection deletes a selected clip. Step 1: Step 2: From the Utilities screen, use the Down navigation key to move the cursor to DELETE CLIP. The row appears as inversed text. Press Select. The following screen appears. Step 3: Use the Left and Right navigation keys to sequence through clip digits. Use the Up and Down navigation keys to increment and decrement digit values. Step 4: When you select YES, the following occurs: • The selected clip is deleted. • The cursor is set to the ones digit. Step 5: Press BACK to return to the Utility Screen. Once you delete a clip, the FS-4 displays a re-organized clip number sequence. For instance, if there are three clips on the disk (1-001, 1002, 1-003) and you delete clip 1-002, after deletion is complete, clip 1-003 becomes clip 1-002. However, base file names are not affected. 46
