Step 6: Press Select. The following screen appears. Step 7: Step 8: Press Select to begin the OS upgrade. The upgrade begins and a status screen appears. When completed the screen displays either "Aborted" or "Complete" Press BACK to return to the Setup screen with the cursor row set to UPGRADE. SYSTEM RESET The System Reset feature allows you to restore the factory default settings for your FS-4 unit. This feature is useful for diagnosing problems with your unit. NOTE: A System Reset cannot be reversed! STATUS The FS-4 Status screen provides details of the systems power state as well as internal temperature. This screen may assist FOCUS Enhancements Technical Support in determining power and thermal problems with your unit. REELS SCREEN (FS-4Pro only) When a disk is formatted, the FS-4 creates 10 folders numbered 0-9 on the disk. You can name these folders anything (up to 10 characters) when the FS-4 is mounted to a computer in DD mode. During recording or playback of a particular clip, you can place clips into folders or play from up to 9 different reels. From the Reels Screen, chose the Reels as follows: Step 1: Step 2: From the Utilities screen, use the Down navigation key to move the cursor to Reels. The row appears as inversed text. Press Select.
