Transporting the Machine Follow this procedure to avoid vibration damage to the machine when transporting it over a long distance. 1 Turn off the main power switch. 4 Hold the front side of the operation panel with your hands. 2 Disconnect the power cord and all the cables from the back of the machine. 3 If you are using the output tray 5 extension, fold the paper stopper, Lift the scanning platform (A) and then push the output tray until it is locked. (You will hear an extension into the machine. audible "click.") Maintenance 10-26
