Using an Externally Mounted Flash (Sold Separately) Attach the flash to the conversion lens adapter. ● When attaching the Macro Ring Lite MR14EX, press and hold the release buttons on both sides of the Macro Ring Lite and fit it onto the conversion lens adapter. ● When attaching the Macro Twin Lite MT24EX, attach the flash heads to their respective flash head mounts ( ). Press and hold the release button on the top of the external ring and fit it onto the conversion lens adapter ( ). Set the camera to e mode. ● Press the q button to choose e. X The shooting mode will switch between e and with each press. Set [ND Filter] to [On]. ● Press the m button and use the op buttons to choose , then press the qr buttons or use the  dial to choose . Configure the externally mounted flash. ● Make settings as shown on Steps 4 - 5 on p. 167. 171
