This enables a faster shutter speed and less chance of camera shake than the zoom (including digital zoom) used by itself at the same zoom factor. The images may appear coarse, however, depending on the combination of recording pixel (p. 74) and digital tele-converter settings used. Choose [Digital Zoom]. ● Press the n button and choose the 4 tab, then choose [Digital Zoom].
