Checking for Shut Eyes Make the setting. ● Press the qr buttons or turn the  dial to choose the amount of flash output, then press the m button. X Once set, ~ will appear on the screen. • You can also set the flash output. Press the n button and choose [Flash Control] (p. 98) from the 4 tab. Then choose [Flash Output] and press the qr buttons to choose a setting. • In M and B modes, you can set the flash output if you press the n button and choose the 4 tab, then [Flash Control] and set the [Flash Mode] option to [Manual]. • When you press and hold the h button for 1 sec. or more, or with the flash raised, if you press the h button and immediately press the n button, the settings screen will appear. Checking for Shut Eyes When the camera detects the possibility that people have their eyes shut, appears. Choose [Blink Detection]. ● Press the n button, then choose [Blink Detection] in the 4 tab. Press the qr buttons to choose [On]. Shoot. X When a person with shut eyes is detected, a frame and appear. • In or $ mode, when the number of shots is set to two or more, this function is only available for the last image shot. • In and modes, this function is only available for the last image shot. • Not available in W, , or mode. 101

Press the

When the camera detects the possibility that people have their eyes shut,
appears.
Choose [Blink Detection].
Press the
