• Observe the following precautions while the ACCESS indicator on the camcorder is on or flashing. Failing to do so may result in permanent data loss. - Do not open the double memory card slot cover. - Do not disconnect the USB cable. - Do not disconnect the compact power adapter or turn off the camcorder or the DVD Burner. • For important information on handling your discs, refer to s Cautions on handling. NOTES • If a scene does not fit entirely in one disc, it may be divided and continue on the next disc. • When the camcorder contains a large number of scenes to be saved on discs, it may take a long time for the connection to the DVD Burner (step 2 above) to be completed. For best performance, we recommend limiting the number of scenes to be saved to 500 or fewer scenes. (With 500 scenes, it will take approximately 3 minutes to complete the connection.) Playing back AVCHD discs created with the DW-100 DVD Burner DW-100 AVCHD-compatible DVD players, Blu-ray Disc players DVD players not compatible with AVCHD* AVCHD disc created with the DW-100 (no MXP scenes) O Oa * Do not insert a disc into an incompatible device, as you may not be able to eject the disc. Playing Back AVCHD Discs Using the DW-100 DVD Burner You can use the optional DW-100 DVD Burner and the camcorder also to play back high-definition (AVCHD) discs on a TV. This is very convenient, for example to play back your discs even in a location where an AVCHD-compatible DVD player is not available. Operating modes: 138 External Connections
