When changing the Auto Power OFF setting, make the changes from the [Maintenance] tab in the [CANON DR-6030C USB Properties] window used for selecting the Long Document mode described earlier. Chapter 2 If the [Turn off automatically after 4 hours] check box is selected, the Auto Power OFF function is enabled and the power turns off automatically after four hours pass without scanning or other operation. If the [Turn off automatically after 4 hours] check box is deselected, the Auto Power OFF function is disabled. Note • Under the following circumstances, the Auto Power OFF function does not operate even if the [Turn off automatically after 4 hours] check box is selected. - If any document remains in the feeder after scanning - If a scanner error occurs • When the Auto Power OFF function is enabled, the power cannot be turned back on again immediately after it has been turned off automatically. Wait at least 10 minutes after operation of the Auto Power OFF function before turning the power back on again. Using the Scanner 61

When changing the Auto Power OFF setting, make the changes from the
[Maintenance] tab in the [CANON DR-6030C USB Properties] window used
for selecting the Long Document mode described earlier.
If the [Turn off automatically after 4 hours] check box is selected, the Auto
Power OFF function is enabled and the power turns off automatically after four
hours pass without scanning or other operation.
If the [Turn off automatically after 4 hours] check box is deselected, the Auto
Power OFF function is disabled.

Under the following circumstances, the Auto Power OFF function does not
operate even if the [Turn off automatically after 4 hours] check box is
selected.

If any document remains in the feeder after scanning

If a scanner error occurs

When the Auto Power OFF function is enabled, the power cannot be turned
back on again immediately after it has been turned off automatically. Wait at
least 10 minutes after operation of the Auto Power OFF function before
turning the power back on again.
