BADTRANSCEIVER Messages Chapter 2 Messages and Recovery Procedures BADTRANSCEIVER Messages Error Message BADTRANSCEIVER, PHY, LOG_WARNING: An innapropriate transceiver has been inserted in interface [chars]. Explanation A defective module is installed in the specified interface. [chars] is the interface. Recommended Action Remove the transceiver. If it was purchased from Cisco, contact your Cisco representative to have the transceiver replaced. BSPATCH Messages Error Message BSPATCH-1-RELOAD: System will reboot to activate newly patched Boot Loader. Explanation The switch automatically reboots after the boot loader is patched. Recommended Action If this message recurs, copy it exactly as it appears on the console or in the system log. Research and attempt to resolve the error by using the Output Interpreter.
