2-26 Compaq TaskSmart W2200 Appliance Server Administration Guide Alerts The Alerts feature of the TaskSmart W2200 appliance server notifies the system administrator of specific server activities or conditions. Click Alerts in the left menu, and the Alerts submenu is displayed as follows: I Critical Disk Space I Root Login I System Utility Change I System Reboot I Network Port Access I Configuration File Changes Critical Disk Space To access the Critical Disk Space Alert, click Critical Disk Space in the left submenu. The Critical Disk Space Alert screen is displayed. The Critical Disk Space Alert allows the user to select whether or not to have an alert sent if hard drive space reaches a critical level, how much usage constitutes a harmful level, and where the alert is to be sent. Use the check box to select or deselect the Critical Disk Space Alert. Use the drop-down box to choose usage level, and then type an email address in the text box to designate where the alert is to be sent. Click Set the Alert to activate the Critical Disk Space Alert. Root Login To access the Root Login Alert, click Root Login in the left submenu. The Root Login screen is displayed. The Root Login Alert notifies the user when a root login occurs. Use the check box in the Root Login Alert screen to select or deselect the alert, and then type an email address in the text box to designate where the alert is to be sent. Click Set the Alert to activate the Root Login Alert.

Alerts
The Alerts feature of the TaskSmart W2200 appliance server notifies the
system administrator of specific server activities or conditions.
Click
Alerts
in the left menu, and the Alerts submenu is displayed as follows:
Critical Disk Space
Root Login
System Utility Change
System Reboot
Network Port Access
Configuration File Changes
Critical Disk Space
To access the Critical Disk Space Alert, click
Critical Disk Space
in the left
submenu. The
Critical Disk Space Alert
screen is displayed.
The Critical Disk Space Alert allows the user to select whether or not to have
an alert sent if hard drive space reaches a critical level, how much usage
constitutes a harmful level, and where the alert is to be sent.
Use the check box to select or deselect the Critical Disk Space Alert. Use the
