Initialization and Administrative Procedures 2-39 Restore Server Click Restore Server in the left submenu. The Restore Server screen is displayed. To initiate a system restoration: 1. In the Restore File text field, type the location of the backup file that you wish to restore. 2. Click Next. 3. Review your backup settings. If correct, click Start Backup. If the settings are incorrect, click Back and correct the backup information. The data is restored from a local or mounted file system of the client workstation through HTTP file transfer. The system restores what you have saved in the backup file. Restoring the TaskSmart W2200 Appliance Server to Factory Defaults The TaskSmart W2200 appliance server can be returned to the original factory image or upgraded to the latest factory image by using the Compaq TaskSmart W-Series Appliance Quick Restore CD. CAUTION: The Compaq TaskSmart W-Series Quick Restore CD erases the system and all data is then destroyed. Save all configurations, users, and other important data to another system before restoring factory defaults. Follow the instructions for factory default restoration that come with the Compaq TaskSmart W-Series Appliance Quick Restore CD.

Click
Restore Server
in the left submenu. The
Restore Server
screen is
displayed.
To initiate a system restoration:
1.
In the
Restore File
text field, type the location of the backup file that
you wish to restore.
2.
Click
Next.
3.
Review your backup settings. If correct, click
Start Backup.
If the
settings are incorrect, click
Back
and correct the backup information.
The data is restored from a local or mounted file system of the client
workstation through
HTTP
file transfer.
The system restores what you have saved in the backup file.
Restoring the TaskSmart W2200 Appliance Server
to Factory Defaults
The TaskSmart W2200 appliance server can be returned to the original factory
image or upgraded to the latest factory image by using the Compaq TaskSmart
W-Series Appliance Quick Restore
CD.
CAUTION:
The Compaq TaskSmart W-Series Quick Restore CD erases the
system and all data is then destroyed. Save all configurations, users, and other
important data to another system before restoring factory defaults.
Follow the instructions for factory default restoration that come with the
Compaq TaskSmart W-Series Appliance Quick Restore CD.
