Initialization and Administrative Procedures 2-37 Compaq Insight Manager XE is a Web server-based application that allows system administrators to accomplish normal administrative tasks from any remote location using a Web browser. Compaq Insight Manager XE provides device management capabilities that consolidate and integrate management data from Compaq and third-party devices. Version 2.0 or higher is needed to successfully manage multiple TaskSmart W2200 appliance servers. Compaq Management Agent information is accessed by clicking Compaq Agent in the left menu. The Compaq Insight Management Agent Web interface opens in a new browser window. For more information about Compaq Insight Manager and Compaq Insight Manager XE, see the Compaq Management CD that is included with your TaskSmart W2200 appliance server. ROM Upgrade Click ROM Upgrade in the left submenu. The ROM Upgrade screen is displayed. The ROM Upgrade feature allows the system administrator to upgrade the system ROM. Clicking Yes allows the system to boot from a CD or diskette on the next boot to perform a ROM upgrade. CAUTION: Upgrade ROM with only Compaq ROMPaq that is designated for the TaskSmart W2200. Be sure to follow the ROMPaq instructions. Eject CD ROM Click Eject CD ROM in the left submenu. The Eject CD ROM screen is displayed. The Eject CD ROM feature allows you to use the unit identification system to quickly identify one or more TaskSmart W2200 appliance servers that require service or maintenance. You can also eject the CD-ROM tray from the TCU to identify a TaskSmart W2200 appliance server when more than one appliance is present in a rack. Click Yes, Eject the CD ROM Tray to eject the CD-ROM tray. You must manually return the CD-ROM tray to the closed position.
