3-10 Compaq ProLiant ML330 Setup and Installation Guide Removing a Hard Drive To remove a 3.5-inch hard drive: CAUTION: Before removing the access panel, make sure that the server is powered down, all cables are disconnected from the server, and the power cord is disconnected from the grounded AC. 1. Follow the steps in "Removing the Access Panel" earlier in this chapter. 2. Disconnect the power and data cables from the back of all devices in the hard drive compartment. Figure 3-9. Remove the three shipping screws, press the tabs on either side of the drive compartment, then pull the drive compartment from the chassis as shown in Figure 3-6.

Removing a Hard Drive
To remove a 3.5-inch hard drive:
CAUTION:
Before removing the access panel, make sure that the server is
powered down, all cables are disconnected from the server, and the power cord
is disconnected from the grounded AC.
1.
Follow the steps in “Removing the Access Panel” earlier in this chapter.
2.
Disconnect the power and data cables from the back of all devices in the
hard drive compartment.
