C Appendix Switches and Jumpers When you add or remove a component or change a security feature, you must reconfigure the server to recognize these changes. If the system configuration is incorrect, your server may not work properly and you may receive error messages on the screen. Setting the system board switches is part of the reconfiguration process, along with running the BIOS Setup Utility. Switch Settings The ProLiant ML330 system board has two switches that are used to set configuration and processor speed options on your server. The Server Feature Board has a switch, that is used to set configuration options on the Server Feature Board.
