To rename a device: 1. Select the device in the Device List 2. Click 'Edit Device' 3. Check the 'Use Custom Name' box 4. Enter a name that represents this device in the field The device now appears in the list by its new name To see your device configuration in action, make sure you are running a DivX Connected device Editing File Data Metadata is data that describes the media contained in the file and certain characteristics of the file, such as file size and type. Add metadata or change how existing metadata is displayed for any file in your DivX Connected Server database to accurately describe file contents. Music files may already contain sufficient descriptive metadata; home video files may or may not contain descriptive metadata. Metadata for a video file is displayed in the device when you select a video file for playback. Press 'Menu' in Music on the device to use genre metadata to sort music files for playback. Editing Video Metadata To edit video metadata in the DivX Connected Server: 1. Click the 'Video Settings' tab 2. Click the folder that contains the file(s) you want to edit 3. Right-click the file(s) and select 'Edit Metadata' 4. Renaming Devices in the Device List

Select the device in the Device List
2.
Click ‘
Edit Device
3.
