The Metadata Editor stores information entered into the Genre field for later use. When you click the arrow to display the drop-down list, all genres associated with the files in your collection appear in the list. To remove a genre from the list, you must change or remove the genre from every file associated with that genre. Resetting Video Metadata Resetting the metadata discards all custom attributes or artwork assigned to the selected file(s). If the file originally contained no metadata except for the file name, then all information is removed except for the file name. To set the metadata back to its original state in the DivX Connected Server: 1. Click the 'Video Settings' tab 2. Click the folder that contains the file you want to edit 3. Right-click the file and select 'Reset Metadata' Note: Your changes do not affect the file's metadata.
