Procedure 1 Remove the six screws (M2.5x13) that secure the base cover to the computer base. 2 Loosen the captive screw that secures the base cover to the computer base to open a gap between the two parts. 3 Using a plastic scribe, gently pry the base cover from the gap around the captive screw to release the clips on the base cover from the computer base. 11

Procedure
1
Remove the six screws (M2.5x13) that secure the base cover to the computer base.
2
Loosen the captive screw that secures the base cover to the computer base to open a gap between the two parts.
3
Using a plastic scribe, gently pry the base cover from the gap around the captive screw to release the clips on the base
cover from the computer base.
