Procedure 1 Remove the two screws (M2.5x7) that secure the rear-I/O cover to the palm-rest assembly. 2 Using a plastic scribe, disengage the rear-I/O cover from the computer base on the proper pry locations. 3 Pull the rear-I/O cover from the computer base. 26

Prerequisites
Remove the
base cover
.
Procedure
1
Remove the two screws (M2.5x7) that secure the rear-I/O cover to the palm-rest assembly.
2
Using a plastic scribe, disengage the rear-I/O cover from the computer base on the proper pry locations.
3
Pull the rear-I/O cover from the computer base.
