Prerequisites 1 Remove the base cover. 2 Remove the wireless card. 3 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in "Removing the hard drive". 4 Remove the solid-state drive. 5 Remove the rear-I/O cover. 6 Remove the computer base. 7 Remove the battery. 8 Remove the touchpad bracket. Procedure 1 Open the computer 90 degrees, and using a plastic scribe, release the touchpad from the adhesive on the palm-rest assembly. 39
