NOTICE: The cable connectors are keyed for correct insertion; do not force the connections. 5 Align the modem with the screw holes, and press the modem into the connector on the system board. 6 Install the screws to secure the modem to the system board. 7 Replace the cover. NOTE: You need the Operating System CD to install the Microsoft® Windows® operating system. You also need the Drivers and Utilities CD for your computer to install the drivers and utilities on the new hard drive. Hard Drive CAUTION: If you remove the hard drive from the computer when the drive is hot, do not touch the metal housing of the hard drive. NOTICE: To prevent data loss, shut down your computer (see page 40) before removing the hard drive. Do not remove the hard drive while the computer is on, in standby mode, or in hibernate mode. Connect the modem cable to the modem.
NOTICE:
The cable connectors are keyed for correct insertion; do not force
the connections.

Align the modem with the screw holes, and press the modem into the
connector on the system board.

Install the screws to secure the modem to the system board.

Replace the cover.

You need the
Operating System
CD to
install the Microsoft

operating
system. You also need the
Drivers and Utilities

install the drivers and
utilities on the new hard
drive.
CAUTION: If you remove the hard drive from the computer when
