Spanning Tree Command Description Mode* clear spanning-tree detectedprotocols Restarts the protocol migration process on all interfaces or PE on the specified interface. exit (mst) Exits the MST configuration mode and applies MC configuration changes. instance (mst) Maps VLANs to an MST instance. MC name (mst) Defines the MST configuration name. MC revision (mst) Defines the configuration revision number. MC show spanning-tree Displays spanning tree configuration. PE show spanning-tree summary Displays spanning tree settings and parameters for the PE switch. spanning tree Enables spanning-tree functionality. GC spanning-tree auto-portfast Sets the port to auto portfast mode. IC spanning-tree bpdu Defines the bridge protocol data unit (BPDU) handling GC when spanning tree is disabled on an interface. spanning-tree bpdu flooding Allows flooding of BPDUs received on nonspanning-tree GC ports to all other non-spanning-tree ports. spanning-tree bpdu-protection Enables BPDU protection on a switch. GC spanning-tree cost Configures the spanning tree path cost for a port. IC spanning-tree disable Disables spanning tree on a specific port. IC spanning-tree forward-time Configures the spanning tree bridge forward time. GC spanning-tree guard Selects whether loop guard or root guard is enabled on an IC interface. spanning-tree link-type Overrides the default link-type setting. IC spanning-tree loopguard Enables loop guard on all ports. GC spanning-tree max-age Configures the spanning tree bridge maximum age. GC spanning-tree max-hops Sets the MSTP Max Hops parameter to a new GC value for the common and internal spanning tree. spanning-tree mode Configures the spanning tree protocol. GC spanning-tree mst configuration Enables configuring an MST region by entering the GC multiple spanning-tree (MST) mode. spanning-tree mst 0 external-cost Sets the external cost for the common spanning tree.
