3 Logging in to OME-Modular You can log in to OME-Modular as a local, Active Directory, or generic LDAP user. OME-Modular supports a maximum of two Active Directory or LDAP server configurations, each. For Active Directory and generic LDAP user accounts, OME-Modular allows a minimum of one user account in a simple environment and a maximum of two accounts in a complex environment. LDAP users can perform the following tasks using OME-Modular: ● Enable LDAP access. ● Upload and view a Directory Service CA certificate. ● Specify attributes while configuring LDAP. The attributes are-LDAP server address, LDAP server port, Bind DN, Bind password, user login attribute, group membership attribute, and search filter. ● Associate an LDAP group with an existing or new management module role group. To log in as a local, Active Directory, or LDAP user: 1. Enter the Username. 2. Enter the Password. 3. Click Login. After logging in successfully, you can do the following: ● Configure your account. ● Change the password. ● Recover the root password. Logging in to OME-Modular 17
