Removing the System Board Shroud CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. See "Opening and Closing the System" on page 82. 2 Locate the two shroud tabs with blue dots between the fan assemblies. See Figure 3-13. 3 Grasping the tabs, gently lift the shroud straight up and away from the system board. See Figure 3-13. 4 Remove the system board shroud. Figure 3-13. Removing the System Board Shroud

Open the system. See "Opening and Closing the System" on page 82.

Locate the two shroud tabs with blue dots between the fan assemblies. See
Figure 3-13.

Grasping the tabs, gently lift the shroud straight up and away from the
system board. See Figure 3-13.

Remove the system board shroud.
