TCP/IP menu You can configure the interface card for TCP/IP by making the necessary settings on the TCP/IP menu. See Chapter 2 for details. Items Get IP address Set by PING IP address Subnet mask Default gateway OK Cancel Help Explanations Select the method for acquiring IP addresses; Auto, DHCP, BOOTP, RARP, or Manual. Check this box to enable IP address setting using 9 the ping command. This check box is available only when Manual is selected for Get IP address. Set the IP address for the interface card. Be sure that the IP address is unique and will not cause conflicts with any other device on the network. Set the subnet mask of the IP address. Set the gateway address. Updates the settings.
