5.2 Connections Figure 5.1 shows examples of connection modes between the host system and the IDD. For the 16-bit SCSI, up to 16 devices including the host adapter, IDD, and other SCSI devices can be connected to the SCSI bus in arbitrary combinations. Install a terminating resistor on the SCSI device connected to both ends of the SCSI cable. See Section 4.4 for the cable connection requirements and power cable connections. Connections
Figure 5.1 shows examples of connection modes between the host system and the IDD.
For
the 16-bit SCSI, up to 16 devices including the host adapter, IDD, and other SCSI devices can
be connected to the SCSI bus in arbitrary combinations.
