■ Finishing Scanner Operation 3.1 Flow of Operations Exiting ScanSnap Manager Operation When you do not want ScanSnap Manger to stay resident on your computer, right-clicking the ScanSnap Manager icon S on the task bar, and select "Exit" in the Right-Click menu to exit ScanSnap Manger. If you exit ScanSnap Manager, you can no longer use the ScanSnap. HINT To activate ScanSnap Manager again, from the [Start] menu, select [All Programs] [ScanSnap Manager] [ScanSnap Manager]. 3 Disconnecting the ScanSnap Operation Using the ScanSnap 1. Close the paper chute to turn off the ScanSnap. ⇒ The ScanSnap Manager icon on the task bar changes to the inactive state S . 2. Disconnect the USB cable from your personal computer. 3. Disconnect the Power cable from the power outlet. The ScanSnap is turned on/off in conjunction with the personal computer or HINT opening/closing of the paper chute.
