Managing Your Phone 189 Power settings You can choose to limit your phone's connection to your wireless service provider's 2G (GPRS or EDGE) network when you do not need fast Internet access to save battery power. You can also check the battery usage of all applications that you have used since you last connected your phone to a power source. To connect to your wireless service provider's 2G network 1. Press HOME > MENU, and then tap Settings. 2. Tap Wireless controls > Mobile networks > Network Mode. 3. Tap GSM only. To see an application's power usage Check the power usage of applications and operating system components that you have used since you last connected the phone to a power source. 1. Press HOME > MENU, and then tap Settings. 2. Tap About phone > Battery use. The list of applications appears, sorted by the amount of power they have used. 3. Tap an application in the list to view details about its power use and, if available, tap a button to adjust its settings or view more information about the selected component or application.

±G (GPRS or EDGE) network when you do not need fast Internet access to save 
battery power.
You can also check the battery usage of all applications that you have used since 
you last connected your phone to a power source.
To connect to your wireless service provider’s 2G network
