Phone Basics 51 Disk Drive This mode is available only when you have installed a microSD card on your phone. Select this mode when you want to use your storage card as a USB thumb drive, and copy files between your phone's storage card and your computer faster. When Disk Drive mode is enabled while your phone is connected to the computer, you will not be able to run applications that use the storage card, such as Music or Albums. To transfer files to the storage card in Disk Drive mode 1. Select Disk drive in the Select default type dialog box, and then tap Done. 2. On your computer, navigate to the USB drive of the phone (storage card) and open it. 3. Copy the files into the phone's storage card. 4. When finished, disable USB storage by opening the Notifications panel on your phone, and then tapping Turn off USB storage. When prompted, tap Turn Off. Mobile Network Sharing When you do not have Internet connection on your computer, you can select this mode to share your phone's mobile data connection with your computer. To transfer files to the storage card in Disk Drive mode
1.
Select 
Disk drive
in the Select default type dialog box, and then tap 
Done
.
2.
On your computer, navigate to the USB drive of the phone (storage card) and 
open it.
3.
Copy the files into the phone’s storage card.
4.
When finished, disable USB storage by opening the Notifications panel on 
your phone, and then tapping 
Turn off USB storage
. When prompted, tap 
Turn Off
.
Mobile Network Sharing
