USB board Description USB board USB board cable Spare part number 927925-001 927914-001 Before removing the USB board, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 32). 5. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 34). To remove the USB board: 1. Disconnect the cable (1) from the USB board. 2. Remove the Phillips PM2.0×2.5 screw (2) and the two Phillips PM2.0×5.0 screws (3) that secure the USB board to the computer. 3. Rotate the connector side of the board up, and then lift the board out of the computer (4).
