Factory Restore I need to restore my Compaq AirLife 100 to the factory default settings. What should I do? CAUTION: If you perform a factory restore, all the data and downloaded applications stored on your AirLife is deleted. A factory restore clears all the user-installed settings, programs, and data, and restores your AirLife to the factory settings. Be sure to save any important data to an external data device, such as an SD card or a PC before performing a factory data reset as all your data and applications you purchased will be erased. 1. On the Home screen, press MENU on the keyboard, touch Settings, and then touch SD card & storage. 2. Under the Application storage section, touch Factory data reset. Follow the onscreen instructions. Your AirLife restarts and turns on. If the factory restore is successful, the Compaq logo appears, and then the Get Started Assistant will appear. NOTE: You can also perform a factory restore if your AirLife is off. On the keyboard, press and hold the Home key, and then press the power button. Continue holding the Home key while your AirLife powers up until an exclamation point appears on the screen. Next, on the keyboard, press Alt and W.
