2 HP ProCurve 2650 An HP ProCurve 2650 is used for multiple roles in an HP Cluster Platform solution. It is used as a system interconnect and it is used to control the console network or the administrative network. The HP ProCurve 2650 has a power connector, but it does not have a power switch. It is powered on when connected to an active AC power source. The automatically adjusts to any voltage between 100 volts and 240 volts (50-60 Hz). No voltage range settings are required. During the self test, the following sequence of events occurs: • All the switch chassis LEDs go on. • After approximately 30 seconds, all the module LEDs go on as the modules receive power and code is downloaded to them. • The Fault LED goes off. • The chassis LEDs go off except Power, Self Test, - HP Cluster Platform Interconnects v2010 | Gigabit Ethernet Interconnect Guide - Page 39
. 2. Hold the module by its bulkhead, taking care not to touch the metal connectors or components on the board. 3. Insert the module into the slot guides and slide it into the slot until it stops. Ensure that the power supply does not overload the power circuits, wiring, and over-current protection. The port numbers on the modules in chassis devices are labeled, but the slot numbers are not labeled.
