The rear panel of a chassis does not provide network or power connections and is not shown. The power supplies are accessible from the front of the chassis, and the power supply connector is embedded within the power supply. The green LED on the power supply is lit when the power supply is properly supplying power to the system. 8.1.1 ProCurve 9304M The ProCurve 9304M (Figure 8-1) has 4 open module slots for up to 6 10 GbE ports, 56 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 144 auto-sensing 10/100 ports, or a combination. Slots are numbered 1 - 4, from top to bottom. The slot numbers are absolute and do not change based on the position of the management module. The ProCurve 9304M is used as a system interconnect for HP Cluster Platform solutions with up to 56 nodes. The nodes connect directly to the ProCurve 9308M in a star configuration.
