Fan tray Caution: Refer to the ProCurve Series 5400zl Switches Installation and Getting Started Guide for proper power cord selection. Disconnect AC power from the power supply before installing or removing the supply. Otherwise, damage to the equipment may result. Note: The open 6-slot chassis, model 5406zl (J8697A), does not ship with any power supplies. The switch needs at least one power supply to operate. 6.2 HP ProCurve 5412zl Overview The HP ProCurve 5412zl is available as an open 12-slot chassis and as the HP ProCurve 5412zl-96G bundle with four 24-port 10/100/1000-T zl modules pre-installed. When the 7U high 5412zl is used in HP Cluster Platform solutions, the 12 module slots support the following components: • Twelve 24-port GigE switches (288 ports). See Section 6.3. • Twelve 4-port 10-GbE switches (48 ports). See Section 6.4. The HP ProCurve 5412zl-96G has four 24-port GigE modules for a total of 96 GigE ports.
