The cluster architecture has the following stipulations for modular configurations: • A maximum of 14 CBB racks consisting of application nodes and network switches • One UBB rack that can contain some or all of the following components: - Control node - Rack-mounted keyboard, mouse and monitor - Administration network switch - Console network switch - KVM switch - Myrinet system interconnect (128-port only) - MSA storage subsystem (maximum of 2) - Dual-bus disk shelf (maximum of 2) • A maximum of 3 IBB racks consisting exclusively of the 128-port system interconnect (up to 4 per rack) • A maximum of 1 UXR, subject to interconnect port availability (if required).
