HP Deskjet 3840 series printer Printing a color photo in black-and-white Follow these steps to print a color photo in black-and-white: 1. Open the Printer Properties dialog box. 2. Click the Color tab. 3. Click Print in grayscale. 4. Select one of the following options: • High quality: Use this option for photos and other high-quality printouts. • Black print cartridge only: Use this option for fast, economical printing. 5. Select any other print settings that you want, and then click OK. 5.9 Storing and handling photo paper Follow these instructions to maintain the quality of your HP brand photo paper. Storage • Keep unused photo paper in a resealable plastic bag, in the box in which it was originally packaged. Store the packaged photo paper on a flat surface in a cool place. 20
