Display head The display head can be removed and replaced with a different display. NOTE: Replacement displays do not include a webcam. If your current display has a webcam, be sure to remove and save it. See Webcam on page 31. 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparing to disassemble the computer on page 16). 2. Remove the base unit rear access cover (see Base unit access covers on page 17). 3. Disconnect the two display cables attached to the system board by firmly squeezing inward on the two ends of the cable connectors (1) and pulling the cable connectors up and off the system board (2). IMPORTANT: Note the routing of these cables under the nearby plastic cable guides. Display head 19
