Graphics card On models with a discrete graphics card, the card sits under the side of the heat sink. Graphics card models cannot include a hard drive. To remove the graphics card: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparing to disassemble the computer on page 16). 2. Remove the base unit rear and front access panels (see Base unit access covers on page 17). 3. Move the fans aside (see Fans on page 27). You do not have to disconnect the fans from the computer to remove the graphics card. 4. Remove the heat sink (see Heat sink on page 36). 5. Remove the three larger screws (1) and two smaller screws (2) that secure the graphics card. Graphics card 39
