Chapter 5 Installing Additional Boards Remote Control Card The HP Netserver LP 1000r supports the HP Remote Control (PCI) card, which makes use of the HP TopTools remote management software. The Remote Control card requires an I2C connection to the system board, which is provided by the I2C connector on the daughter board (Integrated Remote Assistant circuitry) installed onto the system board.
