CAUTION To prevent damage to the replacement processor, remove the old patch and install a new thermal patch to the bottom of the heatsink before installing it on the new processor. The heatsinks are not reusable unless the thermal patch has been replaced each time the heatsink is removed. heatsink before installing it on the new processor.
